Why won't the LMS recognize CSV files created on my Mac?

When using Office Excel for Mac to create CSV files, for importing student data, make sure that you save the files in the "Windows CSV" format.  Follow the steps below to save your files in a format that the LMS will recognize:

Step 1: Click on File, then Save As




Step 2: Enter a name for your file

Step 3: Click on the Format drop down menu, and select Windows Comma Seperated (.csv)




Step 4: Click Save
